Introduction

This assignment looks at Stroud’s Mills be they falling down, rebuilt or built around. It is inspired by New Topographics in its style and is intended to be viewed primarily as a video. Images are also included for individual viewing.

Artist Statement

Video

The video below is my primary submission for this assignment. It is how I intend my images to be viewed. On this website, the video shown is a 1080p version. Underneath the video, there is also a link to a higher resolution version of the video.

My vision is that this video would be projected onto a wall in either a gallery, or perhaps a local museum concerned with this topic; to that end, in Stroud, there is a heritage museum and that would be an ideal location.
